of the 4th inning, Michael Craig (Rolling Hills, CA/Pepperdine
University) laced a single up the box, and Matt Magallon
(Glendale, CA/Bellarmine-Jefferson HS) followed with a single
to right. Mateo Marquez (Biggs, CA/Cal State L.A.) would
then dig in and blast an 0-1 pitch deep to center field for a
three-run homerun.
The Toros would add a single run in the bottom
of the 5th on a ground out by Craig, while SSU would tack on
another run in the top of the 8th.
