Irvine, CA Junior Grace Fitchett
(Los Angeles, CA/Paramount HS) did double duty at the Steve
Scott Invitational, hosted by UC Irvine, turning in her sixth
consecutive provisional time in the 100-Meter Hurdles and posting
her first provisional mark in the 100-Meter Dash.
In the 100-Meter Dash Fitchett broke the tape
in a time of 11.94, while in the 100-Meter Hurdles the Los Angeles
native finished with a time of 14.00, only finishing behind
runners from Division I schools in both races.
In the 200-Meter Dash senior Deborah Bowser
(Los Angeles, CA/Cerritos JC) turned in her best time of the
season, and a provisional mark, finishing in a time of 24.66.

CSUDH will next be in action at CCAA
Championships on May 3-5, in San Francisco, CA. Last year April
Panteau took home the 200-Meter dash title and finished runner-up
in the 400-Meter dash, while Fitchett finished second in the
100-Meter Dash and the 100-Meter Hurdles.
