Loker Donor Wall: Addition to Student Union Honors CSUDH Friends and Supporters
On Sept. 18, the campus community at California State University, Dominguez Hills gathered to unveil the Loker Student Union (LSU) Donor Wall. Many who contributed to both the original campaign begun in 1968 to build a student union and to the $34.3 million expansion that was completed in 2007 were present.

	University Bookstore Unveils Section Highlighting Faculty Authors
	On Sept. 18, a special section of books authored or edited by faculty at California State University, Dominguez Hills was unveiled at a reception in the University Bookstore, showcasing the diversity of talent and expertise among the campus community.

Art Department Faculty Showcased in Exhibition Opening October 1
“The World In Their Eyes: Art Department Faculty Artists,” an exhibition featuring 70 works of art in varied media by 12 California State University, Dominguez Hills Art Department faculty members will open on Wednesday, Oct. 1 in the University Art Gallery, continuing through Thursday, Oct. 30.

Sophia Momand: Doctor Gives a Helping Hand on Skid Row

As the staff physician in Student Health and Psychological Services at California State University, Dominguez Hills, Dr. Sophia Momand treats patients with basic and preventative care and helps to educate them on making healthy life choices. As a believer in Islam, she has been giving back for her success as a doctor by helping the homeless on Los Angeles’ Skid Row by dispensing hygiene supplies, vitamins and medicine and basic first aid and referrals to clinics.
