CSU Dominguez Hills Kicks Off 50th Anniversary with Speaker Series and Commemorative Web Site

California State University, Dominguez Hills kicks off its 50th anniversary with the launch of the 50th Anniversary Speaker Series and a special Web site that features upcoming events, history of the campus and neighboring community, and a spotlight on distinguished alumni. Karen Gebhart,
president of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Foundation kicks off the series with “Women in Aviation and the 1910 Air Meet.”

	A packed house filled with family, friends, former players and colleagues and the 2009-10 Cal State Dominguez Hills men's basketball team provided the perfect setting last Saturday night as the Toro family honored former men's basketball head coach Dave Yanai with the unveiling of the "Dave Yanai Court," the culmination of a year-long project to honor one of its own.
