	Dave Yanai: Toros Basketball Court Named as Tribute to Former Men’s Head Coach; Endowed Scholarship for Student-Athletes Established Dave Yanai's legacy as a coach and an educator at CSU Dominguez Hills will continue with the naming of the CSU Dominguez Hills basketball court as the “Dave Yanai Court,” as well with the establishment of an endowed scholarship for students on both the men’s and women’s basketball teams.

Amer El-Ahraf: Emeritus Professor of Health Sciences Organizes Conference of Egyptian American Scholars Dr. Amer El-Ahraf, emeritus professor of health sciences, served as the chair of the organizing committee for the 36th International Conference of the Association of Egyptian American Scholars. The Cairo native helped present the conference, which was titled “Enhancement and Modernization of the Medical, Engineering and Commerce Sectors in Egyptian Higher Education” in Redondo Beach last December.

	Hamoud Salhi: Expert on Middle East Relations Featured in Documentary on Successful Algerian Americans Assistant professor of political science Hamoud Salhi was featured in a documentary on prominent Algerian Americans titled “Success Stories from the U.S.,” which was produced by Algerian National Television and the U.S. Department of State. The program is scheduled to air later this month.
