CASE Awards for University Advancement Publication and Project

Dominguez Hills and the 40th Anniversary earned "Awards of Distinction"
from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District
VII annual Awards of Excellence Program. The awards were presented at the
annual conference held Nov. 30 - Dec. 2 in San Diego.
Inside Dominguez Hills, the monthly faculty and staff newsletter, won in the "Internal Audience Periodicals - Tabloids" category and the 40th Anniversary won in the "Special Institutional Projects" category.
IDH editor Pamela Hammond cites the excellent work of associate editor Elana Edelstein, communications specialist; news writer Tim Woodhull, director of media relations; and graphic designer and photographer Gary Kuwahara, media production specialist.
For the 40th Anniversary, project director Stan Hébert, assistant vice president, University & Government Relations, cites the superlative team effort of people across campus who embraced the theme tied into a number of events - and the 40th Anniversary Steering Committee for their guidance and work on the project.
