CSUDH Still Taking Undergrad, Graduate,
International Applications
Many universities and colleges close applications earlier than Dominguez Hills
Carson, CA— In spite of the fact that some universities’ and colleges’ deadlines to apply for the fall, 2006 semester will soon pass, applications will continue to be taken under an extended time frame at California State University, Dominguez Hills. Often students, and their parents, mistakenly assume that when one California State University campus has stopped taking applications, all of them have stopped. That assumption can delay their education.
Undergraduate students can submit their applications at CSUDH as late as July 3. Aug. 1 is the deadline for graduate students, and June 1 for international students. To avoid the $15 late fee, however, applications should be in CSU Dominguez Hills’ hands no later than April 1. The fee is $55 for those whose complete and correct applications are in by April 1. After that, the application fee is $70.
Applications are available online. Go to the CSUDH home page at http://www.csudh.edu, then click on Future Students to get a menu, then click on the appropriate category. That will lead to a site with a great deal of information and the CSU Mentor link, which in turn leads to setting up a CSU Mentor account, full information on applying, application requirements, and the applications. For those unable to apply online, and for more information, call (310) 243-3645.
For information on programs and degrees offered by CSU Dominguez Hills, go to the home page, http://www.csudh.edu, click on Academics, then click on the appropriate item on the menu.
To contact the university for more information, call (310) 243-3696.
