CSU Dominguez Hills Extends Fall
Application Deadline
(Carson, CA)— California
State University, Dominguez Hills has extended the deadline for
accepting applications for fall 2008 from transfer, credential
and graduate-level students. The deadline is Friday, Aug. 29. The
first day of classes is Aug. 30.
For a list of open majors, and to apply to the university, prospective
students need to log in to www.csumentor.edu, the official admissions
information web site for all campuses in the California State University
system. In addition to the online application, the site provides
answers to questions about admission requirements, the application
process and financial aid. A payment of $55 is required to submit
the application.
CSUDH offers 43 bachelor’s degrees and 19 master’s
degrees, as well as multiple subject and single subject teaching
credentials. The university also has one of the largest distance
learning programs in California, offering 10 academic degrees and
a number of certificates online or on television. With our complement
of distance learning classes and evening classes on campus, working
individuals have many options when it comes to earning their bachelor’s
or master’s degree from CSUDH.
In-state tuition for undergraduate
students is approximately $3,494 per year, $3,896 for credential
candidates, and
$4,202 for graduate students.
Non-resident tuition is an extra $399 per unit. An installment
payment plan is available, in addition to financial aid and scholarships.
