CSU Dominguez Hills and HOPE Partner to Celebrate Justice Sotomayor's Swearing-in Ceremony

WHAT:  California State University, Dominguez Hills and Hispanas Organized for Political Equality (HOPE) partner to host a viewing of Judge Sonia Sotomayor being sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts.

WHEN: The event will take place Saturday, August 8th at the CSUDH campus from 7:30am to 9:00am.

WHY:  In honor of the nation’s first Latina appointed to The Supreme Court of the United States, HOPE will be hosting a viewing of the oath and holding a panel of local Latina leaders who will discuss the significance of Judge Sotomayor’s confirmation.
