Crisis Communications
University Communications and its spokespersons are responsible for communicating official university positions on issues of critical and general, campus-wide impact or significance to the media and external audiences.
Communications to the on-campus community are made by the Risk Management office or University Police.
It is paramount that University Communications and Public Affairs be provided notice of critical or emergency situations on campus, to enable any designated spokespersons to represent the university effectively and accurately.
