Christine De Castro: Reaching for the Stars Junior Christine De Castro received a $1,000 scholarship from the Hispanic Americans for Fairness in Media at their 2006 Gala Awards and Scholarship Presentation on Feb. 2 at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel.

David Gamboa (Class of '05, B.A., Communications), field representative for Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald (CA-37th District), awards her recognition to Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) for their efforts toward the victims of Hurricane Katrina at the ASI Senate Meeting on Feb. 3. CSUDH was recognized on the floor of Congress for their participation in the largest relief project in the South Bay.
