WASC Capacity and Preparatory Review Team to Visit CSUDH Oct. 9-10

A Capacity and Preparatory Review Site Visit by a Western Association of Schools and Colleges team will take place on October 9-10. The second of a series of three visits by the accreditation body, the visit will focus on the capacity of the University to deliver effective educational programs that yield enhanced student outcomes, including the structures and processes built to align assessment, planning, and resource allocation.

Academic Ombudsperson to Aid Student Success In and Out of the Classroom
Andrew Long, acting director, University Advisement Center and coordinator, First-Year Experience is a problem solver. As the Academic Ombudsperson, he will be using his advising skills above and beyond his regular duties as a liaison for students as they attempt to navigate the often choppy waters of the University system.

	Print Exhibition Explores the Universe in Words and Images
	“Leslie Sutcliffe: The Galaxy, Wunderkammer and Index Paintings,” opens October 4 and continues through November 1 at the University Art Gallery. The exhibit features 50 paintings that make up three distinct stories by Leslie Sutcliffe, artist, writer, curator and longtime adjunct instructor at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
