The California State University is seeking to bring a multicultural awareness to intelligence training with the formation of the Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence, headquartered at Cal State San Bernardino. The seven-campus consortium, which includes CSUDH, aims to prepare students for careers in intelligence while reaping the cultural benefits of a diverse student population of foreign language speakers who have grown up with both an American way of life and the speech and culture of another country.

Every graduating senior of the 2005-06 CSUDH McNair Scholars Program has been accepted into doctoral and master’s degree programs at institutions across the country, as have a few recent alumni. In addition, six McNair scholars have been accepted for summer research programs at local and national institutions.
