Although his collegiate career may have come to an end, senior standout centerfielder Mateo Marquez looks forward to beginning his
professional baseball career after he was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 47th
round of the First-Year Player Draft. The Biggs High School alumnus batted .357 with nine
home runs and 43 RBIs in his final season as a Toro, legging out 12 doubles, five triples,
