	Since its opening in 2003, The Home Depot Center has been a part of the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus, providing an energy to the institution that only a world-class sports venue can, with not just financial returns, but with educational and career opportunities for current students and alumni.

Young Soccer Players Learn to "Bend It" at David Beckham Academy

As David Beckham settles into his new home with the L.A. Galaxy at The Home Depot Center, some of his youngest fans are trying to emulate his prowess on the field at the nearby David Beckham Academy. Located on a corner of the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus, the Academy provides young players from all over the world with a winning environment and athletic training at three or five-day soccer camps for aspiring footballers
of all ability levels.

Toro Athletics Director Keeps His Eye on the Ball With Home Depot Center and AEG Partnership

Patrick Guillen has been an integral part of the California State University, Dominguez Hills athletics department since 1995, as the director of athletic media relations, assistant athletics director and finally, director of Toro Athletics.As the L.A. Galaxy and The Home Depot Center raise the bar for soccer in Los Angeles with the arrival of superstar David Beckham, Guillen reflects on the worlds of academia and professional sport and how
both can benefit from a collaboration that celebrates winning both on the training field and in front of the fans.

DH Sports Lounge Brings Food and Fun to the Table
The DH Sports Lounge in the expanded Loker Student Union gives students, faculty and staff an oasis on campus to enjoy a meal, have a beer, take in a televised soccer game or just hang out with friends. The lounge is also helping to build a bridge to the neighboring Home Depot Center, which serves as home to two MLS teams, the L.A. Galaxy and Chivas USA.
