	Jung-Sun Park: Riding the Pan-Cultural Wave
	Jung-Sun Park, associate professor and coordinator of Asian-Pacific studies, had her essay “What is Hallyu, the Korean Wave” published in the summer issue of News and Reviews, a publication of the Asian Educational Media Service, which is based at the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Laura Robles: Researcher and Associate Attend International Conference on Malacology
Laura J. Robles, dean of graduate studies and research and professor of biology attended the World Congress of Malacology last month in Antwerp, Belgium. Accompanying her was alumna Shannon Kelly, who is an adjunct faculty member in the chemistry and biology departments and a Minority Biomedical Research Support Program (MBRS) research associate in Robles’ laboratory.
