| CSUDH Serves: Campus Efforts to Aid Fire Victims Continue
The CSUDH Serves program has been successful in supporting people affected by
the wildfires, including William Whetstone, professor of nursing, whose home
in Lake Arrowhead was destroyed. The combined efforts of the campus and its
Psi Chi chapter provided a donation of $500 for the Whetstone family.
Donations of new and used clothing, toys, personal hygiene items and monetary
donations were delivered to the Orange County Rescue Mission in Tustin, CA and
the Salvation Army in Lake Forest, CA two weeks ago from the Dominguez Hills campus.
CSUDH Serves will deliver another load of items to the two facilities today. For
more information on supporting the California fire victims or on CSUDH Serves, contact
the Office of Student Life at (310) 243-2081.
