	Chelsea Clinton to Visit CSU Dominguez Hills Friday, Feb. 1
	Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of presidential hopeful Sen. Hillary Clinton and former President Bill Clinton, is coming to the campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills this Friday, Feb.1, as part of the Clinton campaign’s young voter outreach effort.

Spring Convocation: President García Highlights Community, Points of Pride and Meeting Budget Challenge
Dr. Mildred García, president of California State University, Dominguez Hills, welcomed faculty and staff back to campus during Spring Convocation on Jan. 24. Recapping the fall semester and giving an outlook for the future, she also spoke about a stronger focus on building community, celebrating the university and its points of pride, enrollment management and financial stability.

CSU Dominguez Hills’ Visiting Distinguished Scholar To Give Public Lecture on Upcoming Book on Feb. 4

Writer, independent scholar and poet William L. Fox, California State University, Dominguez Hills' Visiting Distinguished Scholar, will deliver a lecture on his upcoming book, Aereality: The World From Above on Monday, Feb. 4 at 5:30 p.m. in the Loker Student Union. Fox, whose work is a sustained inquiry into how human cognition transforms land into landscape, is the first visiting distinguished scholar at CSU Dominguez Hills.

Long Beach Architecture Exhibit Opens on Feb. 6 at University Art Gallery

“Early Long Beach Architecture,” curated by Louise Ivers, professor of art at California State University, Dominguez Hills, opens at the University Art Gallery on Wednesday, Feb. 6, continuing through March 5. The exhibit will feature the works of California architects Henry F. Starbuck, Robert F. Train, Robert E. Williams, J. Cather Newsom, Garrett and Bixby, and John C. Austin represented in historic postcards, contemporary photographs by Ivers, and watercolor paintings by Long Beach artist Carl Aldana.
