True freshman Kristin Tanaka made history this morning as she was named the National Fastpitch Coaches Association's National Player of the Week, it was announced by the NFCA, the first Toro to ever win the honor. Tanaka made the most of her appearances last weekend against then-No. 14 Humboldt State, entering three games and coming away with three wins against the reigning CCAA Champions.
