The Urban Community Research Center at California State University, Dominguez Hills is a multidisciplinary applied research center that explores urban change and social problems in the South Bay region through the work of students
and faculty, providing their data and information to community-based organizations and other entities. Dr. Ricky
Bluthenthal, the center's director, looks back on the first two years of the its existence and is pleased
with all that has been achieved so far.
