CSUDH men's golf head coach Dr. John L. Johnson has received a lot of media attention in the past two months
for being the oldest coach in the nation at the age of 88, according to the NCAA. Last month, Los Angeles Times sports columnist Jerry Crowe profiled “Dr. J,” and last night, KABC-7 featured him during its sports news segment
after Channel 7 Sports Anchor Rob Hartung visited Dr. J and the CSUDH men's golf team at the Victoria Golf Course
in early March.
