Five months removed from leading the Cal State Dominguez Hills men's soccer team to the 2008 NCAA
National Championship, its second in eight years, junior defender Kevin Gallaugher was named the
2008-09 California Collegiate Athletic Association's Male Athlete of the Year on May 30, as voted
on by the league's sports information directors at their annual year-end summit.
