Photo above: Groundskeepers and technicians from the campus's Physical Plant are working together to refurbish the teahouse structure in the Japanese Garden on campus. Bill Ota (in center) assisted his father Ralph Ota in constructing the original site, which was completed on the CSU Dominguez Hills campus in 1978 with donated materials and labor from the Japanese American gardening and landscape community.

This summer's repairs include replacing and reinforcing the aging deck and repainting the teahouse structure.
