Fumiko Hosokawa has had her book, "Building Trust: Doing Research to Understand Ethnic Communities,” accepted for publication by Lexington Books. The professor and former chair of sociology at California State University, Dominguez Hills adapted her own “manual” for training faculty members to interview ethnic communities for research that she penned a decade ago as part of a Pilot Ethnic Research Training Project supported by a grant from the Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now United States Department of Health and Human Services).
