Dominguez Hills adapted her own “manual” for training faculty members to interview ethnic communities for research
that she penned a decade ago as part of a Pilot Ethnic Research Training Project supported by a grant from the
Department of Health, Education and Welfare (now United States Department of Health and Human Services).
