Just in time for the 2009 season, the 2008 Cal State Dominguez Hills volleyball team was awarded the American
Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award for their success in the classroom as student-athletes
in the past spring and fall semesters. This marks the first time in the awards ten-year history that the Toros
have won.
