Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) has provided $33,226 in technology funds to help furnish a nursing skills lab at California State University, Dominguez Hills. The lab, which will be used by students in the master’s entry-level professional nursing program will feature state-of-the-art equipment to train students who aspire to careers as clinical nurse leaders.

Art students and alumni at California State University, Dominguez Hills have established Arty-Essence, a peer support group that provides students and recent graduates with opportunities to network, gain professional development skills, and exhibit and gain feedback on new works.

Students at CSU Dominguez Hills now have access to an innovative resource that will allow them to use their iPods and other MP3 devices to study. A collaboration between the University Library and the Office of Information Technology provides a new service for students that converts print and digital files into an MP3 format using Kurzweil 3000 software.
