Student Entrepreneurs Win Second Annual Business Plan Competition

Eight students have taken top honors in a business plan competition put on by the College of Business Administration and Public Policy at California Sate University, Dominguez Hills. In its second year, the CBAPP Business Plan Competition provides CSU Dominguez Hills students with real- world experience in developing a business plan and offers winners cash prizes and invaluable advice from local business leaders to enhance their entrepreneurial skills and spirit.

Presidential Scholars: 2009-10 Cohort Represents CSU Dominguez Hills’ Best and Brightest

This evening, a reception for the 2009-10 Presidential Scholars will be held on the fifth floor of the new South Wing addition to the University Library at California State University, Dominguez Hills. The 24 students, who come from a wide range of disciplines, are supported by the award which is currently valued at more than $22,000 for first-time freshmen and $11,000 for transfer students.
