Alumni Return to CSU Dominguez Hills for Commencement Exercises
Thirty-four alumni of California State University, Dominguez Hills returned to their alma mater on May 21 to march in a traditional Alumni Processional during the commencement ceremony for the College of Business Administration and Public Policy. Coming from as near as Carson and as far as Quartz Hill, the graduates spanned the university’s last five decades in history and its diversity of educational opportunity in their achievements.

BFSA held the event to provide career wardrobes for students and community members who are job hunting or starting out in new employment.

Redeaux, a retired social worker and former administrator for Los Angeles County Children and Family Services, has organized the 1st Compton Annual Diabetes Awareness Walk, to take place on Saturday, April 24 at 8 a.m. at Compton High School. The event will include a two-mile walk, free screenings for diabetes, and educational exhibits and speakers. For more information, contact Redeaux at (310) 991-1928 or email jurliner@yahoo.com.
