"Three" Again Proves No. 24 Toros Downfall in 3-2 (2OT) Loss at No. 8 Seattle Pacific

The number three again proved to be the Toros downfall as No. 24-ranked CSUDH's spirited comeback attempt fell just short in a 3-2 double-overtime loss at No. 8 Seattle Pacific, just less than 10 months after SPU ushered the Toros out of the 2007 NCAA postseason in a 3-0 Falcon win. Jessica Murphy paced the Toros with a goal and assist as CSUDH dropped to 1-2 on the year.

Tryouts for Toros Baseball are on Thursday, Sept. 11; full team practice begins on Monday, Sept. 15. for the 2009 season.

"We’re encouraged by the crop of players we have coming in and we’re excited by the positive perception of Dominguez Hills in our community," says S'ua. "That’s a tribute to the staff and students and all those who are part of our university."
