7:00 a.m until 8:00 p.m.

Students, faculty and staff on campus will be able to vote by provisional ballot at this location if they are unable to make it to their normal polling place.

    the Loker North Lawn on campus Sept. 25-Oct. 22,
    Mon-Fri from 11am to 7pm.
  • Students can also initiate registration on the California Secretary of State’s web site at www.sos.ca.gov.
  • You can also register by telephone: call 1-800-345-VOTE.

Here are answers to additional questions you may have.

Am I eligible to register to vote?

In order to register to vote you must be a citizen of the United States, a resident of California, and at least 18 years of age at the time of the next election.

As a college student living away from home, where should I register?

You may register to vote either at your college address, or at your hometown or parent’s address. If you register at your hometown address and want to vote while attending college, you must remember to request an absentee ballot at least 30 days before the election. Check with your state election board for the exact deadline.

When is the last day I may register to vote for an election?

Although an eligible citizen may register to vote at any time, no person is eligible to vote unless he/she is registered on or before 15 days prior to the election.

How will I find out where to go to vote?

Your registration card should include the address of your polling place. Many jurisdictions also send additional informative materials to registered voters.

If you do not receive the information in the mail, call the local election office at (800) 815-2666. To find your local polling site please visit the L.A. County Polling Place Look-up web page.

When is it necessary to reregister to vote?

You need to re-register if you move, change your name, wish to change political party affiliations or if your signature has changed.
