Travel and Tourism Featured at Campus Festival
Carson, CA - The campus of California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) comes alive on Nov. 28 with all the color and excitement of global travel as the University presents a special Travel & Tourism Day. Tourism industry vendors will staff information booths on the lawn near the Loker University Student Union beginning at noon and ending at 4 p.m.
Representatives from the city of Carson are scheduled to make a presentation to Dr. Mathieu and Maureen O'Crowley, co-hosts of the event, and students in the Recreation and Leisure Studies department. Event participants, including Hawaiian Airlines, Hawaii World and Pleasant Holidays, Korea National Tourism and the Jamaica Tourist Board, add a special international flavor to the festival. Ethnic desserts, entertainment, travel souvenirs, and free door prizes help make this an exciting day.
