California State University, Dominguez Hills
Begins a Four-day Series of Activities During Welcome Week

Carson, CA - More than 12,000 students will be treated to a four-day celebration of activities as California State University, Dominguez Hills kicks off "Welcome Week 2002" on Monday, Sept.9 in the campus Sculpture Garden and in the Katherine B. Loker University Student Union. From Salsa dancing lessons, to DJ music giveaways, to a symposium on Homeland Security, students will experience a myriad of informational and interactive display booths designed to welcome the CSUDH students to a new academic year.

As part of "Welcome Week 2002," CSUDH will hold a special symposium, "The Homeland Attack: One Year Later" in an effort to discuss and explore the causes of terrorism and measures that students can implement to foster greater communication within diverse cultures. The following is a complete schedule of activities for "Welcome Week 2002":
