CSU Dominguez Hills Holds Election Recall Forum
Political Science Professors Examine Impact of the Recall Effort
CARSON,
Calif. – The California Recall Election of Governor Gray Davis
will be the topic of discussion during a special forum in the Loker University
Student Union at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) on Wednesday,
Oct. 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Professors from the University’s
Political Science Department will offer diverse views on the impact of this
historic election recall.

The historic Oct. 7 Recall Election is front-page news throughout the nation. To examine the possible impacts on California’s economic and political landscape, a special faculty and student forum at CSU Dominguez Hills.
Following are the participating CSUDH political science professors and their topics: Margaret Blue, “A History of the Recall;” Richard Palmer, “The Recall: A Comparative Perspective;” Alan Fisher, “The Recall, Initiative and Referendum and Democratic Theory;” and Michael Griffin, “The Recall: A Student Perspective.” Professor Oliver Wilson will be the forum moderator.
