Author and Sex Therapist Gail Wyatt
WHO: Gail Wyatt, professor of psychiatry and biobehavorial science at UCLA Nationally renowned for her insight into the pitfalls many couples experience with intimate relationships, Dr. Wyatt will share some of the lessons she has learned following years of clinical research into sexual dysfunctions between couples. Her book, No More Clueless Sex: Ten Secrets to a Sex Life that Works, explores the stereotypes women have experienced and the influences of risky behavior. Wyatt will discuss how women and their male partners can experience a healthier and more enjoyable sex life. Also, she will examine the effects of drugs and pornography as impediments to a productive sexual relationship between men and women. Co-authored by her husband, Lewis Wyatt, Jr., M.D., No More Clueless Sex, takes a close look at the 10 most common sexual patterns that incapacitate couples. The book examines these 10 obstacles separately in respective chapters. Gail Wyatt and her husband offer sound advice on how couples can work towards greater compatibility. Wyatt is also expected to discuss the emerging issue of bisexual African American men living on the “down low” and how this secret behavior is negatively impacting black women and children.
