5K AIDS Walk for Minority Women, Children at CSUDH April 22
Illinois Senator Barrack Obama is chair;
CSUDH President Lyons will lead a walk team
Carson, CA— Senator Barrack Obama, D-Illinois, is the honorary chairman of the 10th Annual Southern California 5K AIDS Walk for Minority Women and Children, which will be held Saturday, April 22, on the university soccer field at California State University, Dominguez Hills. The Walk is co-sponsored by Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald (D-37th) and the African American Women Health and Education Foundation.
CSU Dominguez Hills President James E. Lyons, Sr. will lead a CSUDH team in the Walk.
Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Registration is $25. The walk begins at 9 a.m. on the university soccer field, which is near the southern end of the campus, accessible from Toro Center Drive off University Drive. The nearest lots for parking are 4A and 4B, next to Toro Center Drive.

CSUDH is located at 1000 E. Victoria Street, off Avalon Boulevard between the 91 and 405 freeways. It is east of the 110 Freeway off 190th Street, which becomes East Victoria Street. University Drive is also off Avalon Boulevard between the 91 and 405 freeways.
