CSUDH Health Center Brings Community Services to Its Fair April 26
Makeovers, massages offered; Fitness, medical, legal, pharmaceutical information on tap
Carson, CA— Identity theft protection information, free massages by massage therapists from Maric College, Mary Kay skin care products and information, and staff from the new 24-Hour Fitness in Carson will be at Health Fair 2006 on April 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the California State University, Dominguez Hills campus.
The event is free and open to the public.
There will also be free makeovers from Flavios Beauty College, and representatives from dental offices, pharmaceutical companies, Kaiser Permanente health and medical centers, Los Angeles County Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Pre-Paid Legal, Curves, and on-campus organizations. CSUDH Student Health and Psychological Services will showcase its services, which include events such as the Health Fair, which bring in services and information from the community as well as from the campus.
The Fair will be held in front of Student Health Services, which is just east of parking lot 3, accessible from the Tamcliff Street-Toro Center Drive entrance from East Victoria Street. The university is at 1000 East Victoria Street, on the east side of Avalon Boulevard between the 91 and 405 freeways and east of the 110 freeway via 190th Street, which becomes East Victoria Street.
Parking is $3. Parking permits are available from the yellow dispensers at the perimeters of the parking lots.
