Commencement Ceremonies
May 21-22, 2009
CSU Dominguez Hills holds two formal commencement ceremonies each year at the beautiful Home Depot Center on campus. The Graduate Commencement will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2009 in the Tennis Stadium; the Undergraduate Commencement will be held at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 in the Soccer Stadium.

Presidential Scholarship Benefit

The President's Scholarship Benefit is held annually to honor the scholars receiving the prestigious Presidential Scholarship, as well as other scholarships. A goal of the President's Scholarship Benefit has always been to increase the number of awards given, and our goal for 2009 is to provide funding for at least 15 scholarships.

The Inauguration of President Mildred García

CSUDH celebrated the Inauguration of Dr. Mildred García as its seventh president on May 2, 2008. University faculty, staff, students, alumni, state officials, community members, and academic leaders came from all over the nation to honor Dr. García. A host of special events took place during the week leading up to the installation ceremony.
