What You Can Do…

Communicate!

News and stories are often generated by what you tell us.

Each morning we search databases to discover news about alumni and programs that have appeared in the media, and we look at recent news and national issues. We ponder about how CSUDH can best be portrayed as a vital institution in public higher education.

But the best stories are often those where an e-mail informs us about a special student award or another kind of achievement or a happenstance hallway meeting reveals something or someone just perfect for a story or news item. Regularly, we request faculty and staff to tell us about their achievements or recent publication. They do – sometimes. We get excited about new initiatives on campus, interesting research, successes, and we want to grapple with the problems, too!

That’s all we need – for you to be alert to the great things you are doing, the wonderful people around you, the things that make your office tick, and then think of us – and tell us!
