Media Relations
University Communications staff includes public relations professionals responsible for securing local, national and regional media coverage of the university.
The office is responsible for communicating official university positions on issues of general, campus-wide impact or significance, as well as crisis communications during a critical or emergency situation.

Campus News
Faculty and staff with news and story ideas should contact one of the above individuals, the only authorized contacts with media. Members of the press must work through this office to reach faculty or staff.
Event Support
We collaborate with other team members in planning and organization of University Advancement-sponsored events, and develop media plans and communications to promote the event.

The crisis communications overview outlines the roles and responsibilities that will guide the university in promptly sharing information with all campus audiences during an emergency or crisis.
During an emergency, contact the appropriate vice president or dean for the area in which the crisis exists, as well as the vice president for University Advancement.
