HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the basic coding langugage used for creating and publishing documents on the Web. Although web authoring tools such as Dreamweaver can automatically create and edit webpage code, a general understanding of HTML is required for all campus web developers and administrators.

There is an abundance of websites that offer free HTML tutorials, tips, and discussions. We recomend that you search the Web and visit various resources to find the one that meets your individual learning style, preference, and needs.
