Core Issue Diversity Expected Outcomes Core Issue Diversity: Facilitating Meaningful Interactions Among Members of Our Learning Community

Expected Outcomes:

  1. Improved interactional communication among CSUDH administrators, faculty, staff, students and alumni;
  2. Collection and analysis of a variety of data such as surveys administered to CSUDH incoming students, juniors, and graduates to assess the effect of diversity on learning outcomes;
    Analysis of survey data in order to develop a baseline of current attitudes related to diversity and student outcomes;
  3. Development of campus expectations for CSUDH graduates regarding understanding and awareness of diversity;
  4. Dissemination of best practices in teaching and co-curricular activities to support and capitalize on interactional diversity in our learning community; and
    Involvement of faculty, staff and administration in diversity activities.
