Web Services
The Office of Web Communications provides the following services:
- Manages and develops the top-level pages of the CSUDH website
- Approves departmental requests for access and space on the university's main server
- Maintains and disseminates university Web standards
- Develops and supports systems and technologies to manage campus Web content and architecture
- Designs and posts content and promotional material for the main campus home page
- Provides guidance in designing and developing Web pages for colleges and administrative offices
- Provides training in site maintenance, accessible technology, and university Web standards and practices
- Performs research and analysis such as site reviews, usability testing, online surveys, and Web traffic analysis
- Manages campus Section 508 Web accessibility compliance and remediation
- Explores new and changing Web-related technologies
Web Communications also leads and oversees the activities of the University’s Web Access Management (WAM) Tech Group.
