Dominguez Rising

Campus Building Projects

The evolution and growth of the campus is apparent with all of the building projects happening over the next few years. The new Science & Innovation Building will house teaching and research laboratory space for Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and CISE (Toyota Center for Innovation in STEM Education), including a maker‐space fabrication lab. The campus will add a new Student Residence Hall Complex that includes a 4-Story Residence Building and a 1-Story Commons Building. The Innovation and Instruction Building will be a new four story structure at the front door of the Dominguez Hills campus that will replace the aging Small College Complex and serve both the campus and the community. Finally, the University Village will involve the development of the east side of campus and include restaurants, retail stores, and apartments for faculty and staff.
