Cashier's Office

Due to COVID-19, office staff will be working remotely and the Cashiers Office is closed. Options for submitting payments are, online, by mail or dropped off at the Cashiers Office Dropbox (No cash accepted, include your Student ID on the check).  In order to ensure that we continue to meet your needs and respond in a timely manner to your questions, please direct your inquiries to

This communication applies only to those who receive “live” paychecks and are not currently enrolled in direct deposit.

In response to campus feedback and in an effort to minimize lines at the cashiering window to receive live paychecks, we will provide employees with an option to temporarily receive paychecks by mail sent to either the home or mailing address. This revised Paycheck Distribution Request form must be completed and emailed to Payroll Services at no later than March 25, 2020. It also includes the option to have another authorized person pickup checks on behalf of the employee. It is imperative that employees update current home or mailing address information at the MyCSUDH Portal to ensure we have correct addresses.

As a reminder, student assistants and employees must bring their valid CSUDH ID or government issued ID to receive their paychecks at the cashier’s window. No exceptions will be made. Pay advisements (or direct deposit stubs) will not be distributed and will be held until normal campus operations resume for distribution through departments. We have also extended hours for employees to pick up paychecks at the cashier’s window located in Welch Hall B-270 on March 30, 2020 as follows:

  • Noon – 2pm for employee last names starting with A – K
  • 2pm – 4pm for employee last names starting with L – Z

For those choosing to have paychecks picked up on campus, it is strongly encouraged that you arrive during the assigned times identified above by last name in support of minimizing lines and social distancing. Additional communication will be sent out with modified forms for April paycheck distribution dates and beyond if necessary. Employees are also encouraged to sign up for direct deposit by submitting the completed Direct Deposit Form to Payroll Services via mail or in-person.

Furthermore, effective immediately, the Cashier’s Office will not accept deposits or payments at the windows until further notice. Following are available options to accommodate these services:

  • Student fees may be paid online, or via check mailed to:  CSUDH Student Financial Services (SFS), Welch Hall B-270, 1000 E. Victoria St., Carson, CA  90747;
  • There is a dropbox located outside to the left of the Student Financial Services Office entrance on the second floor of Welch Hall B-270 for check deposits or student fee payments;
    • Departments must include the signed Deposit Transmittal Form with the check to be processed for deposit;
    • Student fee payments shall be made via personal check, cashier’s check or money order. Do not leave cash in the SFS dropbox, and please include a written note with your check or money order identifying the student’s name, CSUDH ID number and contact information.
