I am entering my senior year (Go class of 2018!) and will be graduating with a degree in Psychology. Congratulations on this great achievement and thank you for allowing every Peer Coach the opportunity to support you during this very critical year at CSUDH! Daniel Andrade, CSUDH FYE PeerCoach

Hello everyone and welcome to your first year at CSUDH. My name is Daniel Andrade and I am currently in my third year, majoring in Music Education. This is my first year as a Peer Coach for #DHFYE, and I am thrilled to get the opportunity to work more closely with you all. I know many of you might feel nervous, anxious, and/or excited to start your college career, but just know that I, along with my fellow peer coaches and Advisement center staff, are here to support you through your new journey. I am usually at school all the time, and if I’m not in class or helping one of you, you can find me either napping in the library, or practicing my music in LaCorte Hall. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year, and cannot wait to meet you all soon. If you have any questions or concerns, e-mail me at dandrade18@toromail.csudh.edu.

Carissa Carrico, CSUDH FYE Peer Coach

Hello everyone! My name is Carissa Carrico and I am a third year student studying Communications at CSUDH. I am a newly hired Peer Coach for #DHFYE and I am very excited to begin this opportunity to help freshman students. Before being hired as a Peer Coach, I was a member of the ETE program so I know firsthand how having a mentor is beneficial for students at DH. When I am not assisting students, you can see me around campus with my sorority sisters of Omega Phi Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc., studying in the library, or listening to music. I look forward to getting to know you! If you have any questions at all please feel free to contact me at: ccarrico1@toromail.csudh.edu.

Brenda Guevara, CSUDH FYE Peer Coach

Hi everyone! My name Brenda Guevara I'm a junior studying Human Services here at CSUDH. This is my first year as a peer coach for #DHFYE. As a student I'm honored to be in this program and to be part of this exciting opportunity. My goal is to provide help and guide other students in their first year as Toros. I know college can be nerve-racking especially the first year. Therefore, we as mentors can lead you through the right path. I try to be productive but when I am not I like to watch funny dog videos, go out to eat at my favorite places which are Thai food restaurants, Chipotle and Pieology. Last but not least, I love to watch action movies. I look forward to meeting everyone. Let's go Toros! If you have any questions feel free to reach me at bguevara2@toromail.csudh.edu.
