Resources for International Students

At CSUDH, you’ll find a close-knit, supportive campus community of students, faculty and staff. You’ll also find a full range of on-campus student resources designed to maximize your success. We encourage you to take advantage of the resources available, provided by dedicated staff who are here to help you reach your goals.

International Student Services (ISS)
The ISS office is here to help international students maintain their F1 visa status while providing them with resources to excel academically. It also assists students with adapting to American life through planned events. 
Career Center
Find internship opportunities, conduct job searches, receive career counseling, attend hiring events, build your resume, practice your interview skills and connect with employers who actively hire CSUDH graduates. 
University Housing
Steps away from all of your campus resources, faculty and life, University Housing offers a safe, attractive, apartment community for students from around the world. Applications open March 1st and close May 15. 
Toro Learning Center (TLC)
The TLC offers a range of academic support for students including one-on-one and drop-in tutoring sessions, supplemental instruction in specific courses, connection to a variety of academic resources and assistance with building long-term strategies for academic success. 
Office of Student Life
CSUDH has a thriving international community. Connect with other students through our Office of Student Life. They will help you learn about clubs, organizations, campus activities and events, as well as other ways you can become engaged.
Student Heath & Psychological Services
Staffed by healthcare professionals, the Student Health & Psychological Services offers no-cost basic healthcare including physicals, screening and immunizations, as well as psychological counseling and resources to address personal issues and goals.
Multicultural Affairs (MCA)
MCA offers cocurricular programs to encourage free expression and discussions related to the creation of a multi-ethnic, culturally conscious university.
Campus Safety
Our University Police Department is committed to providing a safe campus where students, faculty, staff and visitors can feel comfortable and secure. On duty 24/7, University Police provide a range of services including emergency calls, around the clock escorts, vehicle lockouts and lost and found.
Transportation Services
CSUDH has a rideshare program for communting students, as well as discounted fares and bus passes for the nearby public transportation systems.
Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services is responsible for setting up payment plans for student fees at the start of each term, sending reminder notices for payment installments, as well as accepting and processing payments.
Admissions & Records Office
Contact this office for help with accessing your student records, credit transfers, ordering transcripts, and preparing for graduation.

Graduate Studies
The office of graduate studies at CSUDH provides resources for graduate students interested in pursuing a Master's degree. Click here to find information on programs offered, admissions requirements, and other services provided.
