Study Abroad Mexico City

In an effort to bridge citizenship, leadership, and culture, Study Abroad Mexico City allows students to explore Mexico City and gain a better understanding of Mexican culture. Students will spend 8 days in Mexico's captial and explore Museums, Temples, Plazas, and Markets.

Students will benefit from CSUDH Study Abroad Mexico City by:

  1. Exploring Mexican history, culture, its diversity and challenges for freedom, equity and human rights
  2. Describing the challenges to identity from the Mexican perspective and relate it to our personal identity
  3. Becoming internationally competent and culturally sensitive citizens

Students will be greeted by our partners at La Casa de la Universidad de California. Here, students will listen to lectures, participate in discusions, and exchange ideas with fellow students from the U.S. and Mexico.

La Casa de la Universidad de California provides a strategic partnership with the University of California to tackle issues related to education, energy, environment, health, arts and culture, economics and trade, immigration, and technology. La Casa seeks to find a common ground between Mexico and the U.S. and apply the best knowledgable solutions the academy can find as well as education the next generation of leaders on these issues.
