Educator Online Programs

California State University, Dominguez Hills offers many types of online courses designed to help educators advance their skills:

School Health & Wellness Education

Five online courses now offered at California State University, Dominguez Hills will prepare K-12 school administrators, teachers, staff, and stakeholders to provide health and risk reduction education as guided by The Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAE) grants under ESSA. The courses were designed to address a well-rounded education and improve school conditions for student learning as stipulated in SSAE as well as meet the guidance for school wellness under the Healthy Hunger Free Kids Act. Research-based standards-aligned approaches are used to help identify need, determine strategies, and monitor progress to improve the health and academic outcomes of K-12 students.
