Due to the current health crisis, the Microsoft Project training course, which is usually conducted in a classroom setting, will now be conducted online using Zoom and the Blackboard Learning Management System. Live virtual class sessions will be conducted at the day/time indicated in the program schedule. Attendance at all class sessions is required.

Students will learn how to create schedules, develop cost-loaded baselines, track progress and produce meaningful reports for stakeholders, as well as customize the software to their preferences.
Computer Literacy Skill
Students need to have a basic knowledge of computer and Internet skills in order to be successful in this course. These include the following:
Students will have an opportunity to create a project plan, track progress and design and print reports. As a Project Management Institute (PMI) Registered Education Provider, CSUDH awards 20 Professional Development Units (technical) to participants who do not miss any class time (no exceptions).

Mr. Wilkens has 46 years of experience, including 31 years of experience in project management. He has managed various projects in software, engineering and construction industries, both in the private and public sectors. He has lectured and presented papers in multiple areas of project management and is a recognized subject matter expert in planning & scheduling and earned value management. His experience includes professional development and mentoring of employees, training students in scheduling software systems, as well as developing and delivering PMP exam preparation courses. Mr. Wilkens continues to receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from his students.

Dr. Inamdar has over 30 years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing management, project management and finance. He has taught business and management courses at two California State University campuses; and University of California, UCIEX. He is also an active faculty member of California Intercontinental University and serves as a chair for dissertations for international students. Kamal holds a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, India; a Master's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills; and a Doctorate degree in Education from Pepperdine University, California. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
A Certificate of Completion is awarded upon successful completion of the required courses.
Note: Once you have completed all the required courses, you may request your certificate via our online application. The processing time is approximately 6-8 weeks from the time of submission, and includes both a digital certificate link and a printed physical certificate.

There are no prerequisites for enrollment and no admission process. When you're ready to register for courses, call 310-243-3741 (Option 1). If you have previously taken a class at CSUDH, you can register at myCSUDH (https://my.csudh.edu).
The deadline to enroll for courses for most certificate programs is FOUR (4) BUSINESS DAYS or earlier before the class begins; please check the Course Schedule for the program to ensure that you can enroll on time.
